ARC Audio PS12-Pro 12-Channel Digital Signal Processor
The ARC Audio PS12-Pro is a stand-alone digital signal processor designed for high-channel-count mobile audio systems and advanced OEM integration projects. Built on the same Pro-Series platform as the PS8-Pro and PS16-Pro, the PS12-Pro expands system flexibility with twelve channels of DSP processing while maintaining the compact, installer-friendly chassis used throughout the series.
This increased channel count allows precise individual processing for complex multi-speaker layouts commonly found in modern vehicles and high-end custom installations.
High-Resolution DSP Architecture
The PS12-Pro is powered by the Analog Devices ADAU1462 DSP processor operating at native 32-bit fixed-point resolution. Dual AKM Velvet Sound 5558B analog-to- digital converters and an AK4438 digital-to-analog converter provide high resolution signal conversion while supporting digital input sample rates up to 192kHz.
This architecture delivers accurate signal processing and low distortion, preserving detail across the entire audio spectrum.
System Integration Flexibility
Eight differential analog inputs accept either RCA or speaker-level signals with a wide sensitivity range from 0.5V to 32V, allowing seamless integration with both aftermarket and factory audio systems. Digital sources can be connected via Toslink optical input or coaxial digital input when used with the optional D.O.C. adapter.
Twelve RCA outputs provide up to 8 volts of signal for clean, high-level connections to external amplifiers in multi-channel systems.
Advanced Control and OEM Compatibility
The PS12-Pro integrates with ARC Audio’s DNA tuning software through a USB-C connection, giving installers access to extensive equalization, crossover configuration, delay adjustments, and flexible signal routing.
Integration with supported vehicles is simplified through compatibility with iDatalink Maestro amplifier replacement modules. Additional system control options include ARC Audio PSC and LR-2 controllers as well as optional AXP WiFi control capability.
