GaleForce Audio — Pick the System Around the Job, Not Just the Speaker Size
GaleForce covers several very different kinds of high-output builds, and the important part is not lumping them all together. A weather-facing motorcycle speaker, a bi-ampable marine-grade pro-audio driver, a dry-location competition midrange, a super tweeter, and a four-channel midrange amplifier do not solve the same problem.
Start with where the equipment is going, how much output you actually need, how many speakers will share each amplifier channel, and whether the system is staying simple or being built as a true multi-way setup.
Want a straightforward weather-facing 2-way speaker? Start with F1.
GaleForce F1 is the simpler route for motorcycle, boat, golf-cart, and powersports locations where you want an efficient complete 2-way speaker without building the system around huge amplifier power. The 6.5, 6x9, and 8-inch versions are sold as pairs, use waterproof tweeters and fully waterproofed front faces, and all carry a published 98 dB sensitivity rating.
Need much more output and independent woofer/horn control? Move to F3.
GaleForce F3 is the marine-grade pro-audio route. The 6.5 and 8-inch models are sold individually, handle substantially more power than the F1, and use a bi-ampable architecture that gives a properly planned amplifier/DSP system independent control of the woofer and horn sections. It makes sense when the build is centered around high output and system control, not when the customer only needs a simple factory-style speaker upgrade.
Building a dedicated multi-way competition-style system? G3 + T25 is the other path.
GaleForce G3 is a dedicated 200W RMS midrange—not a coaxial and not a weather-resistant speaker. The paper-cone G3 must stay protected from direct weather exposure. Choose 6.5 or 8 inches by mounting space and efficiency, then choose 4Ω or 8Ω around the number of speakers, wiring configuration, amplifier, and final load.
GaleForce T25 handles the high-frequency side of that kind of system. Its 104 dB sensitivity, titanium diaphragm, 4Ω/8Ω choices, and dedicated super-tweeter role make it a logical partner for G3 midranges when the crossover and amplifier layout are designed correctly.
Need the amplifier side of a G3 build? Look at the K1200.4.
GaleForce K1200.4 is a Korean-manufactured Class-D four-channel amplifier rated at 190W × 4 at 4Ω and 300W × 4 at 2Ω, with the ratings dyno-certified at 12.6V. Its wide onboard HPF and LPF ranges can be used together to band-pass dedicated midranges such as the G3. One important limitation: GaleForce publishes the amplifier frequency response as 20 Hz–8 kHz, so do not assume it is a conventional 20 kHz full-bandwidth tweeter amplifier.
The quick buying logic
- F1: efficient weather-facing complete 2-way speaker pairs; simplest GaleForce speaker route.
- F3: marine-grade, high-power, bi-ampable 2-way pro-audio speakers; sold individually.
- G3: dedicated dry-location paper-cone midrange; 6.5/8-inch and 4Ω/8Ω options.
- T25: dedicated high-frequency driver for multi-way high-output systems; 4Ω/8Ω options.
- K1200.4: high-output four-channel amplifier with useful bandpass-capable onboard crossover control for dedicated midrange systems.
