Before choosing equipment

Five things change what works in a Jeep.

The roof, doors, factory audio, speaker locations, cargo needs and output goal all affect the system. We sort those out before choosing equipment so the build fits the way you use the Jeep.

The Jeep and how you drive it
We confirm the year, model, trim, factory audio package, top and door setup, weather exposure, normal driving and how loud you need it to stay.

Factory radio and features
We check the radio, factory amplifier, speaker signals, ANC when equipped, cameras, controls, chimes and anything else tied into the audio system that needs to keep working.

Speaker locations and output
Dash, knee-panel, soundbar, pod and custom locations all behave differently. We choose the speakers around the available space, weather exposure, output goal and the power they need.

Bass, cargo and security
The enclosure and electronics still have to work around the seats, cargo area, top storage, tailgate, spare access, weather exposure and the room you use every day.

Power, installation and tuning
Amplifier power, DSP, wiring, electrical support, fabrication, mounting and final tuning are planned together so one part of the system does not create a problem for another.

Why two similar Jeeps can need different parts.

Top and doors

Hardtop, soft top, roof-off and door-off driving change the noise level, weather exposure, wiring and how much speaker output you need.

Factory audio package

Base and premium systems can use different amplifiers, speaker signals, processing and ANC. We verify the exact factory setup instead of guessing from the trim badge.

Dash, knee and soundbar fitment

Speaker size is only the starting point. Depth, adapters, grille clearance, mounting, aiming and power all matter.

Cargo and top storage

Subwoofer boxes and amplifier racks need to work around seat movement, cargo access, removable-top storage, the tailgate, spare access and everyday use.

Weather protection

Speakers, connectors, wiring, amplifier locations, fasteners, drainage and covers need to match how much water and weather the Jeep actually sees.

Electrical support

Higher-power systems may need better wiring, battery support, stronger grounds or charging upgrades. We size that around the actual system and how you use it.
