Lit FX Essential Accessories

The Lighting Is the Visible Part. This Is What Makes It Work.

This collection is the support side of Lit FX: power hardware, replacement or expansion controllers, additional extensions, splitters, signal buffering, and wiring used when a system grows beyond what is already supplied with the lighting package.

First: Know What Your Lit FX Product Already Includes

Lit FX package products include the controller matched to the selected Lighting Type and the appropriate extension wiring for that package. That applies to the vehicle-specific/custom Lit FX packages, including the Jeep factory sound-bar ring kit. You do not need to buy a second controller or duplicate the supplied extensions just to complete the basic package.

Loose LED ring products are the exception. A loose Color-Chase ring needs a compatible addressable controller and the required 3-pin wiring if those parts are not already in the vehicle. A loose Solid Red, Solid Blue, or Solid Green ring needs the appropriate single-color control/power setup if one is not already present.

Then: Add Only the Wiring the Layout Actually Needs

The appropriate extension wiring for a Lit FX package is already included. Additional 3-pin extensions are for longer Color-Chase runs or expansions beyond the supplied package. A splitter is for a controlled branch where multiple compatible pieces need to follow the same signal. Long runs and larger fan-outs can call for a signal buffer/repeater rather than continuing to stack passive connections. LED type, controller type, voltage, and signal architecture still have to match.

Finally: Give the System Clean Fused Power

The vehicle power harness is separate from Lit FX packages unless a specific product page explicitly says otherwise. The Flashtech FT-FUSEHAR is the compact fused power harness for compatible controllers using a 5.5 × 2.1 mm DC male plug. Flashtech currently publishes a 5A inline fuse and an overall harness length of approximately 15 cm / 5.9 inches. It is a short controller-power connection, not a six-foot vehicle harness.

The six-foot prewired power lead belongs to the Flashtech FTLED-RF1 single-color controller package. That kit includes the RF controller, remote, prewired fused lead, and two pairs of connectors used to finish a compatible fixed-color lighting circuit.

Do Not Rebuy Parts the Package Already Supplies

If you bought a Lit FX package, start with the included controller and extension wiring, then add only the power hardware or expansion pieces the actual installation requires. If you bought loose LED rings or you are expanding an existing Lit FX system, choose the controller, additional extensions, splitters, or repeater around that system instead of automatically buying every accessory on the page.

Controllers and 3-pin lighting connections are not waterproof unless a product specifically states otherwise. Keep electrical components dry and protected, secure the wiring away from heat and movement, and follow the product-specific sealing requirements for exterior Lit FX pieces.
