SMS Car Audio builds the system around how loud you want it, where you use it and how much of the vehicle you want to dedicate to the build.
More output is the goal here. We are not trying to turn a high-output project into a quiet sound-quality system. We use the same engineering discipline so the system can play hard without the speaker layout, crossover plan, amplifier power or electrical system becoming the weak link.

What kind of output are you after?
- Loud daily driver: More volume and projection while keeping the music controlled enough to live with every day.
- Pro-audio front stage: High-efficiency mids, midbass and high-frequency drivers built for strong projection and useful output.
- Jeep / open-cabin: Enough efficiency, cone area, aiming and amplifier headroom to keep the music present when wind and road noise rise.
- Motorcycle / powersports: Speaker placement, charging limits, weather exposure and tuning planned around real riding conditions.
- Stunt wall / show build: Driver count, fabrication, amplifier layout, electrical support and presentation designed as one system.
- High-output bass + highs: Bass is only useful if the rest of the system can keep up. We balance cone area, power and bandwidth around the intended result.
What makes a high-output system work?
A system does not become a good high-output build just because it has a lot of speakers or a large wattage number. The useful result comes from matching speaker efficiency, cone area, aiming, crossover protection, amplifier headroom, impedance, electrical capacity, mounting strength and tuning.
- Speaker efficiency and cone area: More usable acoustic output for the power available.
- Aiming and placement: Output needs to reach the listener or the intended listening area instead of firing into trim or away from the vehicle.
- Crossovers: Keep each driver working in a range it can reproduce cleanly at the intended volume.
- Amplifier power: Enough clean headroom for the connected load without treating the gain control like a volume knob.
- Electrical support: Cable, grounds, fusing, battery reserve and charging capacity sized for the real demand.
- Fabrication: Rigid mounts, pods, panels, racks and structures that support the hardware and remain serviceable.
- DSP when useful: Routing, crossover, level, delay, EQ and phase control for systems with multiple speaker sections and difficult locations.
High output can still be clean.
Loud and clean are not opposites. Distortion, poor crossover choices, weak mounting, clipped amplification and voltage drop are what make a system fall apart. The goal is to build enough capability into the system that it can reach the output you want without every component being pushed past the point where it works well.

Where the money goes
On a high-output build, the budget is not just the visible speaker count. It can include amplification, DSP or signal integration, electrical upgrades, OFC wiring, fuse and distribution hardware, fabrication, speaker mounting, enclosure work, acrylic or lighting, installation labor and final setup. The right mix depends on the vehicle and the output target.
Tell us what you are trying to build.
Send the vehicle, current equipment, the kind of music you play, how and where the system will be used, whether the vehicle is normally open or closed, how much space can be used, what needs to remain functional and the budget range. If you want it loud, say that. If you want it brutal, say that. We will plan the equipment, power and fabrication around the actual goal.
