The 18.00SW-4 is Ciare’s 18-inch ferrite high-power subwoofer built for deep, high-output low-frequency systems. Its 4-inch voice coil and 14 mm Xmax give it substantially more cone area and displacement than the 15-inch version when enclosure size allows it.
Important impedance note: Ciare’s exact technical page specifies this model as 4Ω. Some Ciare collection-card data currently displays 8Ω; this listing follows the exact model technical specification.

Where It Makes Sense
Use the 18.00SW-4 when maximum low-frequency displacement and output matter more than enclosure size. Build the enclosure and set filtering from the published T/S data; this is not a universal replacement for every 18-inch cutout or box alignment.
