Description

ARC Audio ARC 1000.2 — 2-Channel Full-Range Class-D Amplifier

Two channels. A lot of usable power. No reason to buy six channels when the system only needs two done right.

Have a pair of speakers or one bridged section that needs real power instead of another small multi-channel amp?

That’s where the ARC 1000.2 makes sense.

Use the ARC 1000.2 for a serious left/right midbass section, another high-power stereo section, or a bridged 4-ohm application. It delivers 500 watts per channel into 4 ohms, or 1000 watts bridged into 4 ohms, so the system can put meaningful power exactly where it is needed.

Factory integration still matters.

The ARC Series uses balanced differential inputs, and ARC provides speaker-level adapter plugs for integration with amplified factory signals. The 1000.2 also has an adjustable 50–500 Hz active crossover and full-range, high-pass and low-pass preamp outputs for building out additional amplifier channels.

Want DSP later?

The analog input board can be replaced with ARC Audio’s optional IPS8.8 DSP module. That means the system can start with the 1000.2 as a high-power analog amplifier or make it part of a DSP-controlled ARC platform when the system plan calls for it.

AMPLIFIER SYSTEM FIT

Where this fits in the build

An amplifier should be chosen around the channels, load, speaker or subwoofer plan, available electrical support and how hard the system needs to play.
