ARC Audio AS100 — 27 mm Silk-Dome Tweeter

That’s where the AS100 makes sense.
At SMS, we would use the AS100 when we are building a DSP-controlled two-way or three-way front stage and want the tweeter to be its own controlled channel. The 27 mm fine-woven silk dome, neodymium motor and tuned rear chamber are built around smooth high-frequency reproduction and an extended lower crossover capability, which gives us more flexibility when we are blending it into the midrange.
Placement matters.
A tweeter can completely change imaging and stage height depending on where it is mounted and how it is aimed. The AS100’s compact format gives us options for factory tweeter locations, sail panels and custom pillar work instead of letting the factory hole dictate the entire front stage.
Need a compact coaxial-style solution?
ARC also designed the AS100 to mount into the center of the AS600 for an active integrated coaxial arrangement when packaging and geometry favor that approach.
