ARC Audio HD-CutKit 14-23 — Harley Saddlebag 6x9 Cut Kit Only
You already know which 6x9s you want. What you need is a clean way to put them in the saddlebag lids.
That’s where the HD-CutKit 14-23 comes in.
This version is the cut-in hardware without speakers. At SMS, we would choose it when the motorcycle system already has a speaker plan or when another compatible large-basket 6x9 is the better match for the rest of the build.
The kit solves the install side of the problem.
The high-strength FRP structure gives the lid and speaker a proper mounting interface. Reinforced mesh grilles follow the OEM lid profile. The speaker is angled forward, threaded inserts handle kit and speaker mounting, and the wiring is already thought through with 16-AWG copper, braided loom, OEM-style quick disconnects and weather-tight bag grommets.
Why kit-only?
Because sometimes we want the ARC lid solution without locking the system into the included CX69 package. The kit is specifically designed to accommodate large-basket 6x9s such as the MOTO CX69, but final speaker compatibility still gets verified before we cut the lid.
