AudioCenter Butterfly 4 Modular Loudspeakers
The AudioCenter Butterfly 4 is a compact modular loudspeaker designed to work either as an individual point-source cabinet or as part of a small multi-cabinet array. Its unusual driver layout places a 4-inch low-frequency driver with two 1-inch soft-dome high-frequency drivers around AudioCenter's T-EYE™ arrangement, providing a broad 100° horizontal × 20° vertical coverage pattern from a very small enclosure.
Both versions use customized ProDriver transducers, a smart passive crossover and dedicated driver protection. Cabinets can be coupled at 0° or 4° angles, allowing the system to scale for meeting rooms, hospitality, retail, exhibits, houses of worship and other commercial or professional installations. PRO or CA?
- Butterfly 4 PRO: conventional professional version with 60-watt power handling, 16-ohm nominal impedance and a 4-pin Speakon connection. The 16-ohm load is useful when designing compatible multi-cabinet systems.
- Butterfly 4 CA: installation version with 16-ohm low-impedance operation plus selectable 70V and 100V transformer taps. It adds an IP54-rated ABS enclosure and an all-weather protective input connection for more demanding commercial installations.
Both models publish a 100 Hz–22 kHz (-10 dB) response and 117 dB peak calculated SPL. Review the selected version below for exact transformer taps, connections, dimensions and weight.
