Description
The AudioCenter D4.2K is a four-channel professional Class-D power amplifier with integrated high-precision digital signal processing. It combines amplification, routing, equalization, crossover control, delay, limiting, and network management in one 2U chassis for installed sound, portable PA, rental, and multi-zone professional audio systems.
The current D-Series platform provides 350 watts per channel into 8 ohms, 550 watts per channel into 4 ohms, or 1,100 watts per bridged pair into 8 ohms. Four analog and four AES digital inputs feed a 48 kHz/24-bit DSP section with input and output equalization, IIR crossover filters, four channels of 2,048-tap FIR processing, matrix routing, and channel delay.
Front-panel display and USB control are supplemented by BrainCore NET Ethernet monitoring and control. Two RJ45 network ports support centralized configuration and device management. High-efficiency Class-D operation exceeds 90 percent, while front-to-back forced-air cooling and comprehensive protection circuits support dependable professional use.
