AudioCenter D4.2K-D — 4-Channel Dante DSP Power Amplifier
Choose the D4.2K-D when the system needs Dante network audio and AudioCenter’s full four-channel DSP platform, but the loudspeakers do not require the larger output or AC demand of the 4.4K-D, 4.6K-D or 4.10K-D. It fits smaller installed full-range cabinets, fills, monitor channels and distributed low-Z zones where network routing matters as much as amplifier power.
AudioCenter publishes 350 W × 4 at 8 ohms, 550 W × 4 at 4 ohms and 1,100 W × 2 bridged at 8 ohms under its 1 kHz / 20 ms burst / 1% THD+N test condition. Published 1/8-power consumption is 375 W, chassis depth is 404 mm and net weight is 8.5 kg. That keeps it the lightest, least power-hungry Dante model in the family.
The -D version adds four Dante audio inputs while retaining four analog and four AES inputs, 48 kHz / 24-bit DSP, EQ, crossovers, delay, compressor/limiter functions, FIR processing and BrainCore NET control. If the rack is staying analog or AES, use the standard D4.2K instead—the Dante suffix is a signal-routing decision, not a performance upgrade by itself.
