Description
The AudioCenter D4.2K-D is the Dante-enabled version of the four-channel D4.2K professional Class-D DSP amplifier. It integrates power amplification, high-precision digital signal processing, Dante network audio, AES digital audio, analog inputs, and Ethernet control in one 2U chassis for installed sound, touring, rental, and distributed professional audio systems.
The amplifier delivers 350 watts per channel into 8 ohms, 550 watts per channel into 4 ohms, or 1,100 watts per bridged pair into 8 ohms. Its 48 kHz/24-bit DSP includes input and output EQ, IIR crossover filters, four channels of 2,048-tap FIR processing, matrix routing, delay, compression, and limiting.
Four Dante channels, four AES inputs, and four analog inputs provide multiple signal paths with network-audio flexibility. BrainCore NET supports centralized monitoring and control for large systems, while the Dante and network-control functions share the professional Ethernet architecture. Comprehensive protection and front-to-back forced-air cooling support reliable operation.
