AudioCenter L MK2 Active Column Systems
The AudioCenter L MK2 platform is a plug-and-play professional column system built around a slim passive column and a powered DSP-controlled subwoofer. It is intended for mobile entertainment, live performance, presentations, houses of worship, hospitality, event production and installations where wide audience coverage and a clean visual footprint are important. Both systems use 2,000 watts RMS / 4,000 watts peak of Class-D amplification, 96 kHz DSP, stereo Bluetooth, professional analog input and output, and a 4-pin Speakon connection between the powered subwoofer and column. Their 110° horizontal × 10° vertical coverage pattern is designed to spread sound broadly across the audience while controlling unnecessary energy toward floors and ceilings. AudioCenter's current L MK2 design also incorporates its ETE™ waveguide and Phycal™ physical-calibration concepts to manage the column's acoustic behavior.
Choose the L MK2 system
- L65 MK2 + L65S MK2: six 5-inch column drivers, four 1-inch high-frequency drivers and a single 18-inch powered subwoofer. Published system response is 35 Hz–20 kHz with up to 137 dB peak calculated SPL.
- L83 MK2 + L83S MK2: eight 3-inch column drivers, two 1-inch high-frequency drivers and a dual-12-inch powered subwoofer. It is a narrower, lighter column/sub format with a published 40 Hz–20 kHz response and 135 dB peak calculated SPL.
