S3118A — Single-18 Active DSP Subwoofer
OVERVIEW
The S3118A is AudioCenter's compact single-18-inch active subwoofer for professional PA, DJs, live sound, rental, worship, events and fixed installations. It provides a self-powered low-frequency foundation without the size and weight of the dual-18 S3218A.

• 1 × customized 18-inch driver with 4-inch voice coil
• 1,000W RMS / 2,000W peak Class-D amplification
• 30 Hz–140 Hz frequency response (-10 dB)
• 128 dB continuous / 134 dB peak maximum calculated SPL at 1 meter
• 48 kHz DSP
• Selectable 80 Hz, 100 Hz and 120 Hz low-pass presets
SYSTEM INTEGRATION
The three crossover presets allow the sub to be matched to different full-range loudspeakers, venues and music styles. A rear-panel phase switch helps correct integration with the top cabinets. Female XLR input and male XLR output allow the signal to be routed through to additional active loudspeakers.
CONSTRUCTION
CNC-machined plywood enclosure, iron grille, four side handles, fan-assisted cooling, M20 base for a 35 mm (1.38-inch) speaker pole and comprehensive DC, short-circuit, thermal, overload, soft-start, overvoltage and undervoltage protection.
