RADIO / OEM FUNCTION FIT
Where this fits in the build
The source unit has to fit more than the dash opening. Steering-wheel controls, factory cameras, amplified audio, chimes, USB, vehicle settings and data integration can change the correct installation path.
Plan aroundConfirm dash fitment and the factory features that must remain.
Match itMatch the radio to phone, camera, audio and interface requirements.
Finish itUse the correct vehicle interface instead of sacrificing OEM functions unnecessarily.
Description
BOSS Elite BE14ACP.WX — 14-Inch Wireless/Wired CarPlay & Android Auto Receiver
The BE14ACP.WX is the biggest-screen option in this BOSS Elite group, and that is exactly why it should be chosen carefully. A 14-inch capacitive display can be excellent in a full-size truck, SUV or custom dash where you want maps and controls presented on a very large surface. In a tighter dashboard, the same size can block vents or controls and become worse to live with than a 10.1- or 12-inch model.
The receiver supports wired and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so the phone can stay in your pocket or connect by cable for charging. BOSS lists iDatalink Maestro compatibility, a built-in 13-band EQ, crossover settings, time alignment, FLAC support, and front/rear/sub preamp outputs.
This WX version does not include a camera. That is the right buy when the factory camera can be retained with the correct integration hardware, or when a separate camera solution is already planned. Choose the WXC only when a new rear camera needs to be part of the package. Bigger is not automatically better here—the dash geometry should decide whether 14 inches is actually the better system.
