Description

BOSS Elite ELPC40B — License-Plate-Mount Rear-View Camera

The ELPC40B is the clean way to add rear visibility when the vehicle does not have a usable factory camera and you do not want to drill a conspicuous camera hole into the body. BOSS designed the bracket to hide behind the license plate and use the existing plate mounting screws, so the camera can look intentional instead of added on afterward.

This makes the most sense when the radio or display is already camera-capable. The ELPC40B does not make an incompatible head unit accept a camera by itself; the display still needs the correct video input and the install needs the proper power/trigger wiring. BOSS lists both AHD and CVBS switching along with NTSC output, so we still confirm the receiver’s supported input format rather than assuming every screen is interchangeable.

If you are already buying one of the BOSS Elite ACP variants that includes a rear camera, the bundled version may be the simpler purchase. The ELPC40B is the better standalone solution when the radio is staying, the no-camera receiver variant is the better value, or a replacement camera is needed.
