BOSS Elite 460BRGB — Single-DIN Mechless Bluetooth Receiver
The 460BRGB is the straightforward choice when the vehicle has a single-DIN opening and the customer has already moved on from discs. There is no CD/DVD mechanism taking up space; music comes from Bluetooth, USB, AUX or AM/FM. That keeps the chassis only 4 inches deep, which can be a real installation advantage in older vehicles, powersports-style dashes and tight radio cavities.
Compared with the 560BRGB, the 460BRGB trades the CD mechanism for the shallower mechless chassis. Compared with the double-DIN 480BRGB, it solves the same basic Bluetooth/USB job in a smaller opening. It is not a CarPlay or Android Auto receiver, so it should be sold to someone who wants reliable basic source control—not to someone expecting phone apps and navigation on the radio itself.
The detachable face and multicolor illumination are useful everyday features. Front and rear preamp outputs also give us a clean path into external amplifiers if this basic receiver is feeding a larger audio system.
