EchoMaster BSCKITJLJT Jeep JL/JT Blind-Spot Side-View Dual Camera Kit
Take the doors off a Wrangler JL or Gladiator JT and the factory mirrors go with them. That is exactly the problem this EchoMaster kit solves. It adds a left and right side-view camera to the Jeep so you can keep a useful view down both sides of the vehicle with the doors on or off.
The cameras mount without permanent vehicle modifications, and the foam-backed brackets help protect the factory paint. Camera angle is adjustable, so the view can be aimed for the Jeep and the way the monitor is being used instead of being stuck with one fixed camera position. The rubberized camera coating is also better suited to an exposed Jeep application than a basic universal camera.
If the Jeep is running a HEIGH10, this kit is made for direct connection. It can also be used with a compatible monitor that accepts composite NTSC video, but EchoMaster specifies the VS41 interface where applicable, and that interface is not included. The kit includes both cameras, brackets, 20-foot extension wiring, power/video adapters and the adjustment tool.
What it will not do: this is a camera-based side-view system, not a radar blind-spot detection system. It does not create automatic blind-spot warning lights or alerts by itself, and it does not include a display. The radio or monitor side of the system still has to support the camera inputs and switching needed for the installation.
