Heise HE-D2CPRO Pro Series D2S/D2R HID-to-LED Bulb Set
Have a D2S or D2R HID setup and want the instant start-up and output of LED for an off-road application without replacing the entire headlight housing? That is what the HE-D2CPRO is built for. It replaces the HID bulb assembly and connects at the input side of the factory ballast, keeping the conversion focused on the light source instead of turning it into a full housing retrofit.
Heise rates the pair at 16,000 lumens and 70 watts per set. The LED position and rotatable collar are designed so the bulbs can be keyed and aimed for both projector “S” and reflector “R” housings, while the 2 mm solid-copper thermodynamic core and high-speed fan handle heat management.
The install also includes the details that matter on a modern vehicle: 12–24-volt operation, reverse-polarity protection, an EMI filter to reduce radio interference and a side-cable connection to keep the assembly slimmer behind the housing. Heise publishes a 6500K color temperature and an IP65 rating for the Pro Series.
What it will not do: this is not a road-legal headlight conversion. Heise specifically labels the HE-D2CPRO for off-road use only and says it is not for use on public roads. It is also only for compatible D2S/D2R applications; the vehicle, ballast connection and available housing clearance still need to match before installation.
