Have a Heise RGB accent pod with the waterproof connector, but the lighting system is using a standard 4-wire positive-anode RGB controller? The HE-PTRGB is the adapter that lets those two pieces work together without cutting the pod connector off and hardwiring around it.

That matters on a clean lighting install because the factory-style waterproof connection stays intact. Heise designed this pigtail for RGB accent pods such as the HE-TL1RGB and HE-ML1RGB, then breaks the connection out for use with a compatible 4-wire positive-anode RGB controller.

Heise specifically lists controller families including the HE-RGBC-1, HE-RGBSAC-1, HE-WFRGBC-1 and HE-RFRGBC-1. For an install that already has compatible Heise pods but uses one of those external RGB-control setups, this is the small adapter that keeps you from modifying the pod wiring just to finish the job.

What it will not do: this is a wiring adapter, not an RGB controller, extension cable or power supply. It is designed around 4-wire positive-anode RGB control. If the lighting system uses RGBW, addressable/color-chase LEDs or another wiring architecture, this is not automatically the correct adapter.
