Description
CHDCHXXO — CH / CHX Passive Tweeter Crossover — Each
Use the CHDCHXXO when a compatible Cicada CH or CHX speaker needs its factory-style passive tweeter network replaced. This is not a generic crossover to throw onto any horn just because the frequency looks close; it is built around the CH/CHX application and gives the tweeter the intended 4 kHz transition plus level control.
The -3 dB / -6 dB attenuation is useful when the horn is too aggressive relative to the mid-bass section or the mounting position puts the tweeter directly on axis. SMS would treat that adjustment as part of balancing the speaker, not as a substitute for fixing an incorrect amplifier gain or crossover setup.
