This is the entry FRP full-range monoblock: enough power for a serious single-channel section without jumping straight into the current demand of the 2.5K-and-up models. DS18 rates it 500W @ 4Ω, 900W @ 2Ω and 1,500W @ 1Ω.
WHY PICK IT
Choose the 1.5K when the speaker bank/load actually needs roughly 1,500W at 1 ohm. DS18 publishes a 130A recommended system fuse, so this is still a real electrical load but materially easier to support than the 5K/8K/12K tier.
