Description

iDatalink Maestro ACC-SAT-TO2 Toyota Satellite Radio & GPS Antenna Adapter

If the Toyota already has properly mounted satellite and GPS antennas, replacing the radio should not automatically mean adding two more antennas to the dash or windshield.

ACC-SAT-TO2 lets supported aftermarket equipment reuse the vehicle's factory antenna hardware. The package includes one adapter for connecting the Toyota satellite-radio antenna to an aftermarket satellite tuner plus two different GPS adapters for connecting the factory GPS antenna to compatible aftermarket navigation radios.

That keeps the installation cleaner. The factory antennas are already mounted, routed through the vehicle and positioned where they belong. If the exact Toyota and new equipment support retaining them, adapting those connections makes more sense than hiding duplicate antenna cables and finding new mounting locations just because the radio changed.

Three Adapters, Three Specific Connections

The satellite lead adapts the supported Toyota factory satellite antenna to the aftermarket satellite-radio tuner. The other two leads cover the common aftermarket GPS-radio connector paths: one is intended for compatible Pioneer navigation radios and the other for compatible Kenwood/Alpine navigation radios.

That is why the package has three cables even though the vehicle may only have one GPS antenna and one satellite antenna. You use the adapter that matches the equipment in the vehicle; you do not stack all three together.

It Is an Antenna-Retention Kit, Not the Integration Module

ACC-SAT-TO2 does not handle steering-wheel controls, factory amplifier data, vehicle settings or radio programming. If the radio replacement also uses Maestro RR, RR2, SR or another supported integration solution, that hardware performs those jobs separately.

The antenna kit itself is there to reuse the compatible Toyota satellite and GPS antenna connections. The exact vehicle, factory antenna equipment, receiver and satellite tuner must match before adding it to the parts list.
