The source unit has to fit more than the dash opening. Steering-wheel controls, factory cameras, amplified audio, chimes, USB, vehicle settings and data integration can change the correct installation path.

iDatalink Maestro SR Vehicle-Specific Radio Replacement T-Harnesses
The Maestro SR module does the interface work; the vehicle-specific HRN-SR harness is what connects that module to the correct factory radio wiring. This is the cleaner route when a supported plug-in harness exists, instead of treating every radio replacement like a universal hardwire job.
This is not a universal year/make selector. The exact vehicle, factory radio and audio architecture still have to match the supported Maestro application. A neighboring year, trim or audio package is not automatically compatible just because the connector family looks similar.

- Match the exact vehicle and factory-radio configuration first.
- Pair the verified HRN-SR vehicle harness with the Maestro SR / ADS-MSR interface.
- Check any required head-unit adapter, camera/USB/antenna retention pieces and other vehicle-specific dependencies before ordering.
- Program and configure the interface for the exact vehicle/radio application rather than using a generic profile.
Important Fitment Rules
- Use the exact SKU returned by the supported vehicle application; do not choose an HRN-SR harness from model year alone.
- Feature retention varies by vehicle and radio. Steering-wheel controls, warning chimes, factory amplifier behavior, camera/USB retention and other features must be checked for the exact configuration.
- HRN-SR-GM3: iDatalink states that factory-amplified applications require the factory amplifier to be bypassed; this harness does not retain that amplifier.
- These are harness variants, not proof that every vehicle within a brand family fits. Confirm exact compatibility for the specific vehicle, factory radio and audio configuration before ordering.
