Where this fits in the build
The source unit has to fit more than the dash opening. Steering-wheel controls, factory cameras, amplified audio, chimes, USB, vehicle settings and data integration can change the correct installation path.
Description
iDatalink Maestro Vehicle-Specific OEM USB Retention Adapters
Replacing the radio does not automatically mean the factory USB port will still work. These Maestro adapters connect supported factory USB/media-hub wiring to an aftermarket radio without cutting the OE harness.
How SMS uses them: we pick the adapter from the exact vehicle and radio/USB architecture in the governed fitment database. These variants are not interchangeable just because they all end at an aftermarket USB input.
Choose the right variant
ACC-USB1 — Select Chrysler / GM / Ford
Factory USB adapter for supported vehicles using the USB1 connection architecture. Current iDatalink sources disagree on the broad starting year: the Maestro Accessories page says 2007+, while the current myFirstech product page says 2006+. SMS therefore does not publish a blanket starting year here; exact application data controls the quote.
ACC-USB2 — Select Honda / Subaru / Toyota 2012+
Converts the supported factory USB-port cable to a standard full-size male USB connection for the aftermarket radio.
ACC-USB-RAM — Select RAM 2013–2017 Media Hub
Replaces the supported RAM center-console Media Hub circuit board so one factory USB location can connect to the aftermarket radio’s USB input. This is a specific RAM media-hub solution, not a generic later-model RAM USB adapter.
ACC-USB-TO3 — Select Toyota
Vehicle-specific Toyota factory USB adapter. Exact model/year compatibility must be verified through current Maestro application data before quoting.
