These are the original JY Power NXT-2KF V1 hybrid capacitors, not the newer NXT-2KF-R2. They were pulled from a vehicle and show normal cosmetic wear from installation and use.
The original NXT-2KF was built as a compact lithium-ion capacitor (LIC) power-support module for car-audio electrical systems. It is designed to recharge quickly and help stabilize voltage during high-current amplifier demand without the size and weight of a conventional auxiliary battery.
