KICKER 52L7XS121 — SoloXS L7XS 12-Inch Excess Competition Subwoofer — DVC 1 Ohm
Choose the 12-inch DVC 1-ohm L7XS when the build needs the SoloXS excursion and power platform but enclosure space still matters, and the amplifier plan calls for the final-load options created by dual 1-ohm coils. A single DVC 1-ohm woofer can be configured for a 0.5- or 2-ohm final load. That coil choice is about the amplifier and number of woofers; it does not make this version inherently louder than the DVC 2-ohm model.
The 12 is the smallest SoloXS enclosure package. KICKER recommends 1,500–3,000 watts RMS and specifies a 3.0 ft³ vented enclosure tuned to 31 Hz. Compared with the 15 and 18, it gives up cone area to keep the build more manageable while retaining the same 43.1 mm Xmax used across the SoloXS line.
