Description
This is the Nano-HDv3 package for the customer who wants the battery and the correct maintenance solution together instead of buying the battery now and trying to figure out a compatible tender later. Limitless pairs its 30Ah Nano-HDv3 motorcycle/powersports battery with the LL3.5A-MTN stock-voltage 3.5-amp maintainer.
The application restriction is the same as the battery-only version: Limitless specifies the Nano-HDv3 for motorcycle and powersports use only and states no vehicles with an alternator. This package does not turn the Nano into a universal automotive battery.
Why Buy the Maintainer Package?
Motorcycles and powersports vehicles can sit for days or weeks between rides while alarms, control modules or other parasitic loads continue pulling small amounts of current. A battery that is repeatedly left partially discharged is being asked to do two jobs: run the system and survive storage without proper maintenance.
The included 3.5A stock-voltage maintainer gives the battery a dedicated maintenance path. Limitless states that the maintainer shuts its output completely off once the battery is charged and turns back on if the battery is pulled down to 13.0V by an electrical load. That is different from leaving an arbitrary charger connected and hoping its voltage profile matches the battery.
Same Nano-HDv3 Electrical Platform
The battery itself is the same 30Ah Nano-HDv3 used in the standalone listing. Limitless publishes a 13.1–13.4V resting range, 14.8V maximum charge voltage, 1,800 cranking amps and 1,350 cold-cranking amps.
For audio demand, Limitless lists support in the 5,500–6,000 watt range, dependent on the charging system. Its published output figures are 400 amps for 30 seconds and 800 amps for a 10-second burst when starting at 14.8V. Those figures explain the battery's ability to support short high-current demand, but they do not replace correct charging-system and cable design.
BMS Protection and Built-In Distribution
The Nano-HDv3 includes an internal battery management system. Limitless states that the BMS is designed to disconnect above 15.3V or below 10V. The V3 platform also incorporates a built-in distribution block, which can make the power layout cleaner in a motorcycle or powersports build where connection space is limited.
Those features do not remove the need for main-circuit fuse protection, correctly sized cable, good grounds and secure mounting. The entire electrical path still has to be capable of carrying the current the system is expected to use.
Battery Only or Battery + Maintainer?
- Choose the standalone Nano-HDv3 if you already own the correct Limitless-compatible maintenance equipment and only need the battery.
- Choose this Nano-HDv3/MTN package if you want the battery and the manufacturer-matched 3.5A stock-voltage maintainer together from the start.
