Where this fits in the build
Electrical upgrades should be sized around real system demand and vehicle charging behavior. Battery reserve, alternator capability, wire and grounds work together.
Description
The Limitless NoLi 12Ah is a narrow battery, and a generic battery tray can waste more room than the battery itself. This vertical mount is the dedicated option in the SMS catalog when the goal is to secure that 12Ah NoLi case upright and keep the installation compact instead of adapting a larger automotive battery tray.
The important part is fitment, not the name on the listing. Limitless publishes the NoLi 12Ah battery at approximately 7 inches long, 3 inches wide and 6.5 inches tall, with a right-positive terminal layout. The physical battery, terminal clearance and cable path should still be checked before the bracket is permanently mounted.
Why a Dedicated Vertical Mount?
Small batteries are often installed because space is already tight. If the mount is oversized, flexible or positioned where the cables have to make a hard bend into the terminals, the install gives back the packaging advantage that made the small battery attractive in the first place.
A dedicated vertical layout lets the battery occupy a narrow footprint while keeping it mechanically supported. That can be useful in motorcycle, powersports and custom audio fabrication where the battery has to share limited space with amplifiers, wiring, air-management hardware or enclosure structure.
Terminal and Cable Clearance Matter
The NoLi 12Ah battery uses a right-positive terminal orientation. Before fixing the bracket location, make sure the positive and negative cables can reach without twisting the terminals or forcing the cable into an excessively tight bend radius.
Keep exposed terminals away from metal panels and other conductive surfaces. A compact battery can still move substantial current, so physical protection and correctly located fuse protection matter just as much as they do on a larger electrical system.
Mount the Bracket to Structure, Not Just Trim
The battery needs to stay put through vibration, bumps and normal vehicle movement. The bracket should be attached to a structural mounting surface appropriate for the application, not simply screwed into a thin trim panel because the battery is small.
Battery weight is only part of the load. Cable tension and vibration can work on the mount continuously, especially in motorcycles and powersports applications. Position the bracket so the battery is supported and the cables are not being used as restraints.
