The Lit FX LED Tour-Pak Lid turns the rear of a compatible Harley-Davidson touring build into a large illuminated display surface. The custom acrylic lid can be engraved around the motorcycle’s name, paint colors, club, audio system, or overall show-bike theme, creating a coordinated rear feature that stands out during daytime display and after dark.

This product is custom-built and is not available for immediate shipment. The artwork is personalized for the customer, and the physical lid is manufactured from measurements taken from the customer’s original Harley-Davidson Tour-Pak lid.

Original Tour-Pak Lid Required

This product requires the customer’s original Harley-Davidson Tour-Pak lid as a physical reference. Tour-Pak lids can vary in shape, dimensions, and bolt-hole locations, so each Lit FX lid must be designed around the customer’s specific original lid. The original lid is scanned and used to capture measurements, mounting locations, and fitment details, then compared with the completed Lit FX design. The customer’s original lid is not modified.

Original Lid Shipping and Return

• The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the original Tour-Pak lid to SMS Car Audio.
• Contact SMS Car Audio before shipping to confirm the correct address and shipment contents.
• The original lid is used only for scanning, measurements, bolt-hole locations, and physical fitment comparison; it is not modified.
• After scanning, design review, and fitment comparison are complete, the original lid is returned in the same outbound shipment as the completed Lit FX lid.

How the Custom Order Process Works

1. Place your order. Provide the motorcycle year, model, and Tour-Pak information.
2. Coordinate the original lid. Contact SMS Car Audio to confirm the correct address and shipment contents. The customer is responsible for shipping the original lid to SMS Car Audio.
3. Send your artwork ideas. Send the motorcycle name, colors, theme, reference photos, and any approved graphics you want considered.
4. Review the render. We create a digital artwork render showing the proposed engraving and layout.
5. Approve the design. Fabrication begins after the artwork, physical fitment, and layout are approved.

Product photos show examples of completed customer designs. Your lid will be built around the measurements from your original Tour-Pak lid and the artwork approved for your motorcycle.

Fitment and Installation Notes

• Final fitment must preserve hinge operation, latch engagement, luggage access, and any speaker clearance.
• Weather sealing, controller placement, power, grounding, and wiring route are installation-specific.
• Production cannot begin until SMS Car Audio has received the original lid, completed the required scanning and measurements, and received final artwork approval.
