Add a Matched Lit FX Detail at the Front Seats Without Permanently Mounting into the Seat Structure

These Lit FX front seat-side covers are for JL, JLU and Gladiator builds that need another custom lighting location without turning the seat itself into a permanent fabrication job. The driver and passenger panels mount magnetically to compatible factory seat areas, so the finished pieces stay removable while still carrying the Jeep’s artwork and lighting theme into the front-seat area.

We engrave the pair around the vehicle name, club, audio system, colors or other approved artwork, then build both sides in the Lighting Type you choose. The value is in the pair working together: one design language on both front seats, with no need to screw the acrylic directly into the seat structure.

Aftermarket seats are not supported. Their frames, trim and available magnetic mounting surfaces can differ from the factory Jeep seats.

Why the Magnetic Mounting Matters

The panels can be removed for service, cleaning or access without drilling a permanent mounting pattern into the seat structure. The electrical side still has to be installed like a real moving-seat circuit, because the seats continue to slide and adjust after the panels are in place.

Route and secure the included extension wiring with controlled slack so normal seat movement does not stretch, pinch, cut or pull the wiring. Seat tracks, adjustment mechanisms and factory wiring all need to remain clear.

Choose the Lighting Around the Build

• Color-Chase RGB — Addressable: Dynamic color effects with static-color capability. The matching addressable controller is included.
• Solid Red: Fixed red illumination with the matching single-color controller included.
• Solid Blue: Fixed blue illumination with the matching single-color controller included.
• Solid Green: Fixed green illumination with the matching single-color controller included.

The solid-color selections do not use an addressable chase controller; they include the appropriate single-color controller instead.

Where They Fit in a Full Build

These make the most sense when the Jeep already has custom door, roof, dash or audio details and you want the front-seat area to carry the same theme. Because the panels are relatively close to the doors and center of the cabin, matching the artwork and lighting color to the rest of the interior keeps the finished build looking intentional.

Confirm the Jeep and seat setup before checkout. This pair is for 2018+ Jeep Wrangler JL/JLU and 2020+ Jeep Gladiator JT with compatible factory manual or powered front seats. Aftermarket seats are not supported.

Choose the Lighting Type. Quantity 1 is the complete driver/passenger pair with magnetic mounting, matching controller and extension wiring included.

After Purchase — Send Us the Vision

You do not need finished artwork before checkout. After the order is placed, email al@smscaraudio.com with your order number plus the Jeep name, wording, colors, theme, logos or approved graphics, reference photos, and anything else that helps us match the rest of the build.

We take it from there. SMS Car Audio / Lit FX lays out the artwork across the pair, emails the digital rendering back to you, works through any needed changes, and begins production only after you approve the final artwork.

Power & Wiring

The matching controller and extension wiring for both panels are included. Connect the lighting to a properly fused 12-volt power source and a secure ground. The vehicle power harness is sold separately.
