The Lit FX Jeep JL Wrangler Side Window LED Panels replace the factory rear side glass with a matching pair of custom-milled, engraved acrylic panels. This is a major show-build conversion that creates two large illuminated display areas for your Jeep’s name, club, colors, audio-system identity, or another approved theme.

These are not decorative covers placed over the original windows. The factory side glass is removed, and the Lit FX panels become the new side-window panels. Each set is built from the established Jeep JL pattern, while the visible artwork is created specifically for the customer.

Vehicle and Hardtop Compatibility

Compatible with two-door and four-door Jeep Wrangler JL models equipped with a hardtop. These panels replace the rear side glass in the hardtop and are not intended for soft-top applications.

How the Custom Design Process Works

1. Place your order. Provide your Jeep model, year, body configuration, and roof information.
2. Send your ideas. SMS Car Audio will contact you by email or message. Send your desired wording, colors, theme, reference photos, and any approved graphics you want considered.
3. Review the rendering. We create a digital artwork rendering showing the proposed engraving across both panels.
4. Approve the design. Production begins after you approve the final artwork and layout.

Product photos show examples of previous customer projects. Your order receives its own artwork rendering based on the ideas and reference material you provide.

Lighting and Electrical Connection

The integrated lighting and included controller require a properly fused 12-volt power connection and a secure ground. Plan the controller placement and wiring route so they remain protected and do not interfere with hardtop installation, interior trim, or normal vehicle operation.

Professional Automotive Glass Installation Required

These panels must be installed and sealed by a qualified professional experienced with automotive glass removal, bonding, and weather sealing. The original hardtop side glass must be removed, and the hardtop openings and bonding surfaces must be prepared correctly before installation.

Correct adhesive selection, surface preparation, panel positioning, sealing, and curing are essential to prevent water leaks, wind noise, loose panels, or hardtop damage. This installation is not recommended as a do-it-yourself project. Confirm the vehicle, hardtop, and installation plan with SMS Car Audio before ordering.
