Build All Four LED Rings Around the Exact KICKER Speakers Going into the DS18 Sound Bar

This Lit FX set is for four compatible 8-inch KICKER marine speakers installed in a DS18 sound bar. The important part is the exact speaker model: an 8-inch size label does not give us the basket, grille and mounting geometry we need to fabricate four rings correctly.

Choose your KICKER 8-inch speaker from the product selector—KM8, KMXL8 or M-Class 8 (MSC8 / MSS8)—then choose how complete you want the lighting package. We build the four-ring set around that confirmed speaker application rather than treating every 8-inch KICKER as the same part.

Every version of this product includes four complete Lit FX LED rings with the LED lighting installed. Package selection only changes the controller, extension wiring and power hardware included with the four rings.

Before You Order

Choose the package level, Lighting Type and KICKER Speaker directly from the product options. Select KM8, KMXL8 or M-Class 8 (MSC8 / MSS8). The speaker family matters because the KM, KMXL and M-Class 8-inch applications use different fitment geometry.

Decide how much of the lighting system you already have. Four Rings Only assumes compatible control, wiring and power are already handled. The higher package levels add the matching controller, extensions and—on the Complete Kit—the power hardware appropriate for the selected lighting architecture.

After Checkout — We Build From the KICKER Speaker You Selected

There is no artwork-proof step on this product. The KICKER Speaker option saved with the order is the fitment information used for the four-ring set. The package and Lighting Type you selected determine which controller, extensions and power hardware are included.

The DS18 sound bar and KICKER speakers are not included. Before final installation, verify ring clearance, speaker mounting, controller location, wire routing and the vehicle-side power and ground path.

Pick the Lighting Architecture First

Color-Chase RGB — Addressable is for dynamic effects, selectable colors and synchronization with other Lit FX addressable pieces. These variants use compatible addressable control and the 3-pin Lit FX signal path.

Solid Red, Solid Blue and Solid Green are fixed-color systems. They do not use the addressable chase controller; package variants that include control hardware are matched to the selected single-color setup instead.

Then Choose How Complete the Package Needs to Be

• Four Rings Only: four complete Lit FX LED rings with the selected LED lighting installed. Use this when compatible control, extensions and power are already in the vehicle.
• Four Rings + Controller: four complete LED rings plus the control hardware matched to the selected lighting type. Extensions and final power wiring remain separate.
• Four Rings + Controller + Extensions: four complete LED rings, matching control hardware and extension wiring. Final fused vehicle power is handled separately.
• Complete Kit: four complete LED rings, matching control hardware, extensions and the fused controller-power hardware appropriate for the selected lighting architecture. The Color-Chase version uses the Flashtech FT-FUSEHAR where its 5.5 × 2.1 mm connection and 5A limit match the controller. Solid-color complete kits use the fused power lead matched to the single-color control setup.

Why We Do Not Use One Controller Package for Every Color Choice

Addressable chase lighting and fixed-color lighting are different electrical systems. The plugs may live in the same accessory collection, but the control hardware is not interchangeable. Matching the package to the selected lighting type keeps the install from becoming an adapter-and-splice problem later.

Plan the Install Before Assembly

Before mounting the rings, confirm the exact KICKER speaker model, ring clearance, controller location and where the wiring will enter and leave the sound bar. Four lighting points in one enclosure are easier to service when the extensions and control hardware are planned before the speakers are tightened down.

Packages using powered control hardware still require a properly sized vehicle-side power and ground path for the finished lighting load. Protect wiring from sharp edges, pinch points and speaker hardware.
