Made-to-order Lit FX rings typically ship within seven calendar days after the selected options, speaker fitment, and required order details are confirmed. Production begins after those details are approved. Shipping transit time is additional.
Custom Order & Final Sale Policy
Each Lit FX ring product is made to order for the customer’s selected application. Because materials and fabrication are committed to a custom or application-specific order, all sales are final. Orders cannot be canceled, returned, or refunded once fabrication has begun.
Handmade Product Notice
Every Lit FX product is individually designed, fabricated, assembled, and finished by hand in the USA specifically for the customer. Lit FX products are custom-made pieces—not mass-produced or manufactured in bulk.
Because each product is handmade, minor cosmetic variations may occur in engraving depth, edge finish, surface appearance, color, or LED illumination. These subtle differences are a natural part of custom fabrication and are not considered defects when they do not affect the product’s fit, function, or safe operation.
If an item arrives damaged during shipping or experiences a functional issue, contact SMS Car Audio promptly and before installing, modifying, or wiring the product. Photos or video may be requested so we can review the issue and determine the appropriate assistance.
Four-Ring Lighting Kit for 8-Inch Kicker Marine Speakers in a DS18 Sound Bar
This Lit FX kit adds an illuminated glow around four compatible 8-inch Kicker marine speakers installed in the DS18 sound bar. Ring sets can be made for Kicker KM 8, KMXL 8 and Kicker MS8 Premium Marine speakers. The customer must provide the exact Kicker speaker model so the rings can be cut for the correct frame and grille.
Every package includes four Lit FX light rings. Select the package based on whether the installation also needs a controller, extension cables and a power harness.
DS18 Sound Bar Required
This four-ring kit is designed specifically for installation in the DS18 sound bar. It is not a universal sound-bar kit and is not confirmed for MB Quart or other sound-bar brands. The DS18 sound bar is required for this application and is not included with the ring kit.

The ring shape is made for the exact Kicker model supplied with the order. These applications can use different frame and grille dimensions, so one ring pattern should not be assumed to fit every Kicker 8-inch marine speaker.

- Four Rings Only: Includes four Lit FX light rings. Controller, extensions and power harness are not included.
- Four Rings + Controller: Includes four Lit FX light rings and one compatible lighting controller.
- Four Rings + Controller + Extensions: Includes four Lit FX light rings, one controller and extension cables for the four-ring installation.
- Complete Kit: Includes four Lit FX light rings, one controller, extension cables and the power harness.
Important Fitment Information
- Designed for four Kicker KM 8, KMXL 8 or MS8 Premium Marine speakers installed in the DS18 sound bar.
- Requires the DS18 sound bar; not compatible with other sound-bar brands or unrelated applications.
- Not intended for other speaker brands or unrelated 8-inch speaker frames.
- The Kicker speakers and DS18 sound bar are not included.
- Provide the exact Kicker speaker model before fabrication so the four rings can be matched to the correct frame and grille.
What the Rings Do
The rings create an illuminated edge around the Kicker speaker grilles, adding a coordinated lighting effect to the sound bar for Jeep, powersports and show-build applications. Lighting operation depends on the selected package and the compatible controller used in the installation.
Installation and Wiring
The speakers must be removed or loosened as required so the rings can be positioned and secured correctly. Verify grille clearance, mounting-hole alignment, wiring clearance and the available depth before final assembly.
Packages with lighting controls require a suitable 12-volt power and ground connection. Route and protect all wiring so it cannot be pinched by the sound bar, speaker frame, mounting hardware or vehicle structure.
This is not a USB plug-and-play product. Proper power, ground, controller placement and wire routing are required.
