MMATS Pro Audio HiFi Series
The HiFi Series is MMATS' high-end full-range Class-D amplifier platform. The current dealer sheet lists the 4-channel HiFi-4250D and 6-channel HiFi-6150D.
Why we use it: HiFi is aimed at complete front-stage or multi-way systems where efficiency and compact packaging still matter, but the system cannot sacrifice control and sound quality just to save space.
Choose by channel architecture
- HiFi-4250D: four-channel layouts, strong front-stage power or two bridged stereo pairs where appropriate.
- HiFi-6150D: six-channel systems and active multi-way front stages that benefit from keeping more channels in one chassis.
Tradeoff: the higher channel count only helps if the DSP/routing plan actually uses it. Do not choose the 6-channel model just because it is the larger number.
In-store / quote-only product. SMS Car Audio plans the channel layout, DSP routing and speaker load before selecting the amplifier.
Where this fits in the build
An amplifier should be chosen around the channels, load, speaker or subwoofer plan, available electrical support and how hard the system needs to play.
