MMATS Pro Audio PRO-SD & PRO-SDX Sound Deadening

Sound deadening is not a cosmetic add-on to a serious audio build. It reduces panel resonance, rattles and road-noise intrusion so the speakers spend more of their output making music instead of exciting thin vehicle panels.

Current MMATS options

  • PRO-SD: primary deadening product from the current dealer sheet.
  • PRO-SDX: alternate/lighter package option.
  • PRO-SDX carton: four-roll shop quantity.

Why we use it: the right treatment can improve midbass response and perceived system clarity before another watt of amplifier power is added.

Tradeoff: more material is not automatically better. Coverage should target resonant panels and problem areas without adding unnecessary weight or blocking service access.
