MMATS Pro Audio ProCast Subwoofers
ProCast is the traditional cast-frame subwoofer family in the MMATS lineup, offered in 10, 12 and 15-inch dual-4-ohm versions. It is a practical middle ground when the build needs a stronger conventional subwoofer platform without jumping directly into Dreadnaut, Monster or Juggernaut.
Why we use it: ProCast fits daily-driver systems that need useful excursion, solid motor structure and standard enclosure flexibility at a more moderate system level.
Tradeoffs
- All current ProCast variants on the dealer sheet are dual-4-ohm, so final wiring options are more limited than families offering D2 and D4.
- A larger ProCast still needs the correct enclosure; cone size does not compensate for a poor box.
In-store / quote-only product. SMS Car Audio selects the size and amplifier around the available enclosure volume and desired bass character.
Where this fits in the build
The subwoofer is only one part of the bass system. Enclosure volume and alignment, final impedance, amplifier power, vehicle space and electrical support all affect the result.
