MMATS Pro Audio Specialty Subwoofers
This family groups the MMATS low-frequency products that are chosen primarily by application rather than by simple size: ProSQ, ProIB and the MBW690 6x9 subwoofer.
Which one fits the job?
- ProSQ 10 / 12: sound-quality-oriented conventional subwoofer applications.
- ProIB 10 / 12 / 15: infinite-baffle applications where the vehicle/cavity becomes part of the acoustic system.
- MBW690: MMATS' 6x9-format low-frequency driver for extremely limited mounting spaces.
Why we use them: these products solve packaging or alignment problems that a normal round boxed subwoofer does not.
Tradeoff: application-specific drivers punish the wrong install. ProIB should not be treated like a normal small sealed-box sub, and MBW690 should not be expected to replace the displacement of a large conventional woofer.

Where this fits in the build
The subwoofer is only one part of the bass system. Enclosure volume and alignment, final impedance, amplifier power, vehicle space and electrical support all affect the result.
