PAC AP4-CH21 AmpPRO 4 Chrysler / Dodge / Jeep / RAM Amplifier Integration
On the supported older Chrysler-family premium systems, the factory radio can stay. The factory amplifier just does not need to keep deciding how the new system has to sound.
AP4-CH21 gives us a clean integration point ahead of the speaker wiring so an aftermarket amplifier or DSP can be added without building the system from a pile of already-processed factory channels. PAC provides front, rear and non-fading/subwoofer preamp outputs while keeping the supported factory controls and vehicle audio functions tied to the original radio.
That makes CH21 the right kind of product when the customer wants a real amplifier or DSP upgrade but still likes the factory dash, Uconnect controls and everyday vehicle behavior. Volume, fade, balance, bass, mid and treble stay integrated in supported applications, along with Uconnect, Bluetooth audio and warning chimes.
Where CH21 Fits in the Chrysler Family
CH21 belongs to the older supported data-bus-controlled amplified architecture. PAC’s application list includes many 2007–2018 Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and RAM platforms, including supported Wrangler JK applications. Newer CH41 and CH42 vehicles are different systems, so we choose the interface from the actual factory architecture instead of from the badge on the hood.
If the new amplifier is taking over factory speaker channels, a matching PAC APH harness can provide the clean return path into the vehicle’s original speaker wiring. If the downstream DSP or amplifier accepts optical, PAC also supports the optional APA-TOS1 TOSLINK output instead of forcing the system to stay on analog RCA.
Full-System Integration, Not Just a Bass Add-On
AP4-CH21 gives us front, rear and non-fading/subwoofer signal access. That makes it a full-system integration piece. If the only problem is weak bass and the cabin speakers are staying on the factory system, a PAC AmpPRO SUB interface can be the more focused solution.
