PAC AP4-TY13 AmpPRO 4 2018+ Toyota / Lexus JBL Amplifier Integration

TY13 moves the integration point to the radio on the supported later Toyota and Lexus premium systems. That gives us a cleaner place to build the new amplifier or DSP system before the factory amplifier has already divided and processed the audio.

AP4-TY13 connects at the factory radio harness and provides front, rear and non-fading/subwoofer preamp outputs while retaining the supported factory controls and vehicle audio functions. The factory screen and source stay familiar to the customer, but the aftermarket system gets a much better signal foundation than a pile of processed speaker-level channels.

Why the Radio-Side Connection Matters

TY11 and TY12 belong to earlier Toyota/Lexus premium-audio architectures with their own connector rules. TY13 is a later application family and PAC designed the interface to connect at the radio harness. That changes where we meet the factory system and keeps the integration cleaner for the supported vehicles.

The 5V RMS RCA outputs can feed aftermarket amplifiers directly or go into a DSP for crossover, EQ, time alignment and routing. If the new amplifier is taking over factory speaker channels, APH-TY02 can provide the speaker-wiring return path where PAC specifies it.

Full-System AP4 vs. a Bass-Only Upgrade

TY13 gives us front, rear and non-fading/subwoofer signal, so it makes sense when the build is upgrading more than just bass. If the factory cabin-speaker system is staying intact and the customer only needs a clean subwoofer signal, APSUB-TY13 can be the more focused answer.

If the downstream DSP or amplifier accepts optical, the analog-based TY13 path can use the optional APA-TOS1 for a 48 kHz / 24-bit TOSLINK handoff.
