PAC OS-5 GM 29-Bit LAN Radio Replacement Interface
OS-5 is for supported older GM 29-bit LAN vehicles where replacing the factory radio still needs the vehicle’s factory options to work. It supports listed vehicles with or without Bose, including applications that retain OnStar, steering-wheel controls, chimes and factory amplification.
This is a network-specific interface. It is not interchangeable with later GM RadioPRO Advanced or AmpPRO products simply because the vehicle is Chevrolet, GMC, Buick or Cadillac.
Where It Fits
Use OS-5 only when the exact vehicle, factory radio and network architecture use the 29-bit LAN OS-5 path. Supported applications include older Chevrolet/GMC truck and SUV platforms; exact model/year and factory equipment must match.

Where this fits in the build
The source unit has to fit more than the dash opening. Steering-wheel controls, factory cameras, amplified audio, chimes, USB, vehicle settings and data integration can change the correct installation path.
