The PNDA1 is a compact neodymium high-frequency compression driver for horn-loaded systems where output, efficiency and low weight matter. Its 1.75-inch voice coil and 110 dB sensitivity make it a very different tool from a conventional dome or bullet tweeter.

System Design Note
A horn/waveguide is required to use a compression driver properly. Use an appropriate high-pass filter and crossover slope; Ciare’s power rating assumes proper high-frequency filtering. Final crossover point also depends on the horn and system target.

Where this fits in the build
Speaker choice should follow the listening goal and the location it has to work in. Factory replacement, sound quality, loud daily and high-output builds have different priorities.
