Description
DII1000.1 — Compact Mono Amplifier — 1000W RMS @ 2Ω
The DII1000.1 is the one to choose when the subwoofer system is intentionally wired to a 2-ohm final load and needs around 1,000 watts. Its important distinction is the minimum rated load: this is a 2-ohm-stable monoblock, not another 1-ohm model in the DII family.
SMS would match this to a single DVC sub or multi-sub combination that lands at 2 ohms without forcing a different coil configuration just to use a 1-ohm amplifier. If the enclosure is already committed to 1 ohm, choose DII600.1, DII1600.1 or another model that is actually rated there. The model number does not override the impedance limit.
MANUFACTURER SPECIFICATIONS
• 550W RMS x1 @ 4Ω
• 1000W RMS x1 @ 2Ω
• Minimum rated load: 2Ω
• Compact Class-D monoblock architecture
• Intended for 2Ω and 4Ω subwoofer systems

AMPLIFIER SYSTEM FIT
Where this fits in the build
An amplifier should be chosen around the channels, load, speaker or subwoofer plan, available electrical support and how hard the system needs to play.
Plan aroundMatch usable channels and power to the actual speakers and load.
Match itPlan signal processing and gain structure before chasing wattage.
Finish itHigher output may require charging, battery and wiring upgrades.
