Description

DII1400.5 — 5-Channel System Amplifier — 160W x4 + 800W Sub @ 2Ω

Choose DII1400.5 when the goal is one amplifier for the whole daily system: four full-range channels for front/rear speakers plus a dedicated mono subwoofer channel. The advantage is packaging and wiring simplicity compared with installing separate four-channel and mono amplifiers.

SMS would use it when the speaker stage fits within 100W x4 at 4 ohms or 160W x4 at 2 ohms and the sub stage is comfortable with 500W at 4 ohms or 800W at 2 ohms. If the subwoofer needs 1,500–3,000 watts, or the front stage needs several hundred watts per channel, separate amplifiers give more flexibility than forcing the entire system into this one chassis.
