PDV — Waterproof Single-Battery Digital Voltmeter
PDV is the straightforward monitor when the system only needs one battery/bus voltage displayed. Recoil gives it an 8–30V DC range, bright three-digit white display, IPX7 rating and adjustable brightness, so it works in normal vehicles as well as exposed marine/powersports-style panels.
SMS would choose PDV for a single-battery audio system where the customer wants to see voltage under load. If the vehicle has a main and auxiliary battery that both need to be watched at the same time, PDVD is the more useful tool.
