DII400.4 — Compact 4-Channel Amplifier — 100W x4 @ 2Ω
The DII400.4 is the sensible four-channel choice when the system is running normal coaxials, component sets or a modest active stage and space is tight. It gives the speakers real amplifier power without buying a several-hundred-watts-per-channel chassis that the drivers cannot use.
SMS would choose it for a clean daily system around 62 watts per channel at 4 ohms or 100 watts at 2 ohms. Bridging gives a pair of 4-ohm loads 200 watts each when a two-channel configuration makes more sense. If the speakers need more headroom on four independent channels, step to DII700.4 rather than over-gaining the 400.4.
