DII1100.4 — High-Power 4-Channel Amplifier — 270W x4 @ 2Ω
DII1100.4 moves the DII four-channel family into real mid-bass and pro-audio power. Choose it when four speakers are designed to use close to 180 watts each at 4 ohms or 270 watts each at 2 ohms and the smaller DII700.4 would be the limiting piece in the system.
SMS would use this on drivers that genuinely benefit from the additional clean headroom. Bridging provides 570 watts per 4-ohm load, which can be useful for a strong two-channel mid-bass arrangement. If the system does not need this level of output, the smaller amplifier will be easier on both the speakers and electrical system.
