PWS8D2 — 8-Inch Echo Pro Shallow Subwoofer — DVC 2Ω — 250W RMS
PWS8D2 is the 8-inch choice when mounting depth is the hard limit. At only 2.90 inches deep, it can solve an under-seat, behind-seat or shallow-panel install that a standard PW8 simply cannot fit, but the tradeoff is lower power handling: 250W RMS instead of the standard-depth PW8's 400W RMS.
Choose D2 when one shallow 8 needs to wire to 1Ω or when a pair is being planned around a common 2Ω final load. SMS would use PWS when the extra inch-plus of motor clearance is more valuable than the additional thermal headroom of the normal-depth PW line.
