QR0 — Large-Gauge Quick-Release Power Connector — 1/0 to 4 AWG
QR0 is for a removable amplifier rack, powered enclosure or show panel that uses large-gauge power wiring. Instead of loosening amplifier terminals every time the equipment comes out, the QR0 creates a dedicated service disconnect for 1/0- through 4-AWG cable.
SMS would choose QR0 over QR4 when the removable section genuinely uses the larger wire range. It is a disconnect point—not a fuse, breaker or battery-isolation switch. Power the system down before separating it and keep the normal source-side fuse protection in place.
