Want to replace the GX470 factory sub without cutting up the OEM enclosure? This SMS Precision adapter retains the factory enclosure-side mounting geometry and provides a proper mounting surface for a compatible 6.75-inch-class replacement subwoofer.
Each adapter is made to order in-house from ASA for automotive use. The vehicle/enclosure-side geometry stays fixed; the subwoofer opening is produced to the selected or verified cutout used for the order.

Adapter only. Subwoofer, wiring, screws, bolts, gasket material, foam, and sound treatment are not included. Some installations may require longer fasteners than the original enclosure hardware.
Check the Subwoofer Before You Order
When the exact subwoofer model is available in the SMS fitment database, the opening can be produced from its verified published cutout. If the exact model is not listed, provide the required cutout measurement.
Clearance responsibility: matching the adapter opening does not guarantee final subwoofer depth, motor, terminal, excursion, enclosure-wall, or grille clearance. Those checks remain the responsibility of the buyer or installer.
