Description

Made-to-order rear-door adapter pair (two brackets) in black automotive ASA. Use only with the confirmed factory mounting pattern and replacement speaker dimensions.

2004–2008 Ford F-150 SuperCrew Rear Door Speaker Conversion

These speaker adapter brackets convert the supported 5×7/6×8-inch-class factory rear-door mounting location on the 2004–2008 Ford F-150 SuperCrew for compatible aftermarket 6.5-inch-class round speakers. The adapter uses a shallow vehicle-side mounting pattern and is not a universal ring for all Ford vehicles.

Verified application and limitations

  • Rear doors: The adapter is intended for the matching rear-door mount in the 2004–2008-generation SuperCrew F-150. Do not infer fitment for unrelated Ford truck body styles or door locations.
  • Front doors: The same user reported the front factory door-panel opening prevented the bracket from fitting without significant Dremel trimming. This variant is for the rear doors only; do not order for the front without a separately verified mounting design.
  • Speaker size: Designed around a 6.5-inch-class round speaker. Verify actual cutout, frame outside diameter, bolt pattern, terminals and speaker depth; nominal diameter alone cannot establish fit.
  • Body/factory audio: Compare cab configuration, original 5×7/6×8 speaker bracket, factory audio package and mount-hole layout before purchase. Do not assume 2004 F-150 Heritage, Regular Cab, SuperCab or unrelated Ford/Mercury fit the same way.
  • Installation: Confirm wiring, door-glass travel, grilles, fastener holes and weather sealing before installing the new speaker.

What's Included

One pair: two black ASA 3D-printed rear mounting adapters. Speakers, wiring harnesses, mounting hardware, foam, gasket tape and installation are not included.

CAD envelope: Bracket geometry approximately 205.8 × 167.0 × 13.5 mm per adapter. CAD-based product image shows the actual bracket shape; final speaker-side mounting must match the customer's replacement driver.
